Puma and Moon
Puma is what this creature is called in the Quechua language of the Andes. The Andean black panther is related to the North American cougar, or catamount, and roams both the rainforest and the higher and sparser elevations. They are powerful, stealthy killers. I have heard many stories about encounters with pumas from friends and family in Peru. Usually, though, the encounters happened to someone else. (I think my ‘spirit creature’ is a puma.)
