Bare Tree and Moon
This tree did not want to live inside the prescribed gilded ground and asserted itself as you can see. That’s fine, don’t you think? Take away the sun, summer warmth, and all winged creatures and this is what you get sometimes. But appearances are deceptive, and this tree is decidedly not dead, just waiting for better weather. It is the iconic tree persisting through bitterly cold seasons, even as a relatively young thing.
